Coffee, croissant, vodka

An Espresso Martini, without the copy-and-paste

There are coffees we drink in the morning. And others that keep the evening going.

Café Philtre belongs firmly to the second category. Inspired by the Espresso Martini, it retains its energy and indulgence while leaving behind anything that might weigh it down. Less sweet and more subtle, it was created to give greater expression to the coffee, the vodka and their roasted notes.

In other words: the same idea, rewritten.

In the glass, 40 ml of Le Philtre Vodka meets 40 ml of freshly brewed coffee, accompanied by buckwheat or vanilla syrup and a few drops of cocktail foamer.

The toasted buckwheat is no coincidence. It extends the cocktail’s roasted nuances, while the vanilla rounds everything out. As a final touch, a little freshly grated tonka bean adds an almost pastry-like quality without turning the drink into a dessert.

The result is cleaner, lighter and deliberately less sweet than a classic Espresso Martini.

Coffee, croissant, vodka

And since good ideas in France often end around a table, Café Philtre is served with a croissant.

Yes, a real one.

Presented together on a silver tray, the cocktail and its croissant transform a bar classic into a little French ritual. To be taken very seriously. Or not at all.

Best enjoyed very late at night or very early in the morning.
