En français, vodka s’écrit Le Philtre

Actualités

In French, vodka reads Le Philtre.

Six years ago, Le Philtre began writing its story.

An organic vodka, a bottle recognisable among a thousand, a few firmly held convictions and a certain idea of the French art of living.

In 2026, the story continues with a new signature:

In French, vodka reads Le Philtre.

This is not about starting all over again. It is about putting into words what was already there.

We do not simply distil grain

Le Philtre has always paid close attention to detail.

First, those found in the glass: organic soft winter wheat, Gensac spring water and a few drops of oak distillate, giving the liquid its delicate texture and subtly toasted notes.

But there are other details, found elsewhere.

A beautifully turned phrase. A word that stays with you. A conversation begun over a drink and finished far later than expected.

Le Philtre has a fondness for well-chosen words, flashes of wit and memorable lines: those we invent, those we borrow and those we read once, only to find ourselves unable to forget them.

So this year, words are taking up a little more space.

French as a playground

The French language knows how to be precise without behaving itself.

It can be elegant, amusing, excessive, literary, familiar, sometimes all within the same sentence.

That is exactly where Le Philtre wished to make itself at home.

Writing now becomes a common thread: through our content, our cocktails, the places we inPhiltrate and the occasions we create. The idea is not simply to speak differently about vodka, but to build around it a world of stories, conversations and playful twists.

Words, all the way into the glass

Naturally, a new way of telling the story of Le Philtre also had to find its place behind the bar.

Our signature cocktails now extend this language in their own way.

  • Le Philtre d’Amour plays with rose, raspberry, maraschino and verjuice.
  • L’inPhiltré, inspired by the Vesper Martini, pairs Le Philtre’s oak notes with white Port and walnut wine.
  • Le Philtre Spritz rewrites the aperitif through herbaceous notes, verjuice and natural sparkling wine.

And then there is the Café Philtre, our contemporary take on the Espresso Martini: less sweet, more subtle, with toasted buckwheat echoing the vodka’s tasting notes.

The cocktails, too, become a way of expressing Le Philtre.
