Saving the world with a frown has never been our speciality.

From the very beginning, Le Philtre has championed a different idea: joyful ecology, where producing and consuming responsibly does not necessarily mean giving up pleasure.

No lectures. Just choices.

Starting with the bottle

The first obvious subject: the bottle.

Using recycled glass allows us to work with material that already exists, rather than systematically seeking perfectly uniform virgin glass. This is precisely what creates the variations in colour that have become one of Le Philtre’s visual signatures.

And once empty, the bottle has not necessarily reached its final chapter.

Le Philtre has also developed a refill system with selected partners, encouraging the bottle to be reused rather than replaced.

Because vodka is also largely water

Water plays an essential role in vodka production: during the reduction stage, it accounts for a significant proportion of the final product.

This connection also explains our commitment to Kynarou, an organisation working to improve access to water, through 1% for the Planet. Le Philtre continues to place this support at the heart of its commitments.

Doing better, without claiming to be perfect

Joyful ecology is not a medal we award ourselves.

It is a way of moving forward: favouring the circular economy whenever possible, reusing rather than discarding, questioning our production methods and continuing to seek better solutions.

That is probably the most important commitment of all.

To keep going. To keep trying to do better. Without forgetting to raise a glass from time to time.
